The water is flowing into a small stream. Then it is going to flow into a small pond. After that it will go down the Mad River. The water from the Mad River will flow into the Winooski River
V-SHAPED VALLEY

The top is wider than the bottom because it has been eroded to a shallow enough angle so gravity have less of an affect. This is an example of erosion because the sediment had to me transported by the river to creat the valley.
