PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Early Life
Gains Germanicus was born at antium in AD 12. He got his nickname while staying in Germany with his parents. He was wearing a smaller version of the military sandals called Caligula's. The sliders noticed this and began calling him Caligula, meaning little sandal. The name stuck with him forever.
Good or Bad:
Caligula was not the best leader, he had many people executed without good reasons. He also started ruling as if he was a god, he didn't respect many people. He claimed his horse could do a better job than most could. He let his power overcome himself and soon became, mentally unstable. So over all he wasn't the best ruler.
Accomplishments
Caligula didn't have many accomplishments. He only ruled for 8 months until getting ill. In those 8 months, he ruled out the law of some taxes. He also got every one to worship him as a god.
