WELFARE

HEALTHCARE

• Cost of insurance exceeds 2 trillion a year
• In comparison the federal healthcare will cost 3 trillion
• The amount people pay for healthcare has increased 30%
• Study shows that over 1/3rd of health costs are wasted
• This amounts to nearly 1 billion of wasted money every year

GUN RIGHTS

• 2nd amendment protects our rights to bear arms
• 200,000 women use guns each year to protect themselves.
• From sexual Abuse
• Citizens use handguns to protect themselves over 1.9 million times a year
• Law abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves over 6,850 times a day

DONT TAKE AWAY OUR BEAR ARMS

MARIJUANA

• Only 19 states have legalized weed for medical purposes
• It helps to provide relief for: Alzheimer's, anorexia, arthritis,
• Cancer, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, and glaucoma
• 50% of the weed in the US is imported, most of it is not just weed
• Some of it has other things laced in it, like PCP

EDUCATION

• Because of standardized tests, students are being told they are
• Excellent in one state, but are average in another state.
• The federal No Child Left Behind law mandates that 100% of
• Students must be "proficient" under state standards by 2014.

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT

• It was proposed by George w. Bush on January 23,2001,
• And signed into law January 8, 2002. It requires all public
• Schools receiving federal funding to administer a state wide
• Standardized test annually to all students, and they must
• Get a certain score to be told they're "proficient"
