WHERE CAN WE FIND IT IN THE US?

  • Only in a handful of places, but mainly California

HOW IS THIS ENERGY CREATED?

  • Produced domestically from several sources

WHAT IS THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT?

  • None, it's environmentally friendly

HOW CAN WE ADAPT THIS FUEL FOR THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY?

  • hydrogen storage systems do not yet meet size, weight, and cost goals for commercializations yet but technology is improving.

WHAT IS THE ECONOMIC IMPACT?

  • It is very expensive and most consumers can not afford it
  • It would produce more jobs

NATURAL GAS

WHERE CAN WE FIND IT IN THE US?

  • Under certain rock formations deep in the ground
  • Mainly in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming,New Mexico, Louisiana

HOW IS THIS ENERGY CREATED?

  • They take it from the ground
  • Send it to a processing plant
  • It gets cleaned and made into a usable fuel

WHAT IS THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT?

  • 20-45% less smog producing
  • 5-9% less greenhouse emissions

HOW CAN WE ADAPT IT FOR THE AUTO INDUSTRY?

  • We would have to make more vechiles that can use it

WHAT IS THE ECONOMIC IMPACT?

  • Less expensive then gasoline
  • It would produce more jobs
