In Ancient Egypt, people used wind to power their boats down the Nile River. The first windmills were used in Persia about 1,500 years ago

Solar Energy is a source of energy that is healthier for the environment than fossil fuels. Solar is also renewable source of energy. Thermal collectors. Use sunlight to warm waters to heat buildings. Spacecraft use solar sails to convert light into motion. Photovoltaic cells those are the dark panels you see on solar power devices like a calculator

Most people use fossil fuels than solar energy. Mainly from the cost. But unlike fossil fuels solar is renewable. Solar, wind and hydroelectric power are all renewable sources
