Actually
The vikings lived in valleys and forest wilderness
They were very smart in picking locations when migrating
They were close to common necessities
The environment contained animals for hunting, streams, and rivers
As well as lots of space

Everyone in the village had a job quite like common chores
Each person job protected someone else
Wood had many purposes, like fire wood and material to build roofs
They even drank the fat in milk and ate leftover butter to build fats
