The Ancient Greek culture is filled with so much entertainment. Often the houses in Greece are made of materials that are common to them such as wood, clay and such other cheap materials. In there home they would have pantries with an everyday source called a pithoo(which was a jar that was stored with food and oil). This oil would be taken to the Greek Church where they had to make a vow unto God and put the oil into pithoos in the church. The priests believe that this oil is holy because it has been vowed over and has been in the church, so he sells it to the people for money. The people would take the oil and sell it to others.

The rich people would often use the money for entertainment and useful resources in Greece. For the Olympics, held in Olympia, training the athletes was expensive, so a lot of money would be dedicated for such a big event to honor the king of the gods, Zeus. After competing in the Olympics, the winners would receive a crown with leaves around it. Many of the capturing moments in Greece are shown through the sculpture and art. The discus thrower for example was an athlete in the Olympics, who performed. Without these arts and statures, very little would be known about what we call today, Ancient Greece.
