PRESENTATION OUTLINE

I is for Injury
Johnny gets injured getting kids out of the church that was on fire. The injury he had made him realize he didn't want to die. After a long time of being in the hospital he died.

J is for Johnny
Johnny gets hurt in the fire because a piece of wood falls on him. This makes Johnny is so hurt he could die. While he is in the hospital he realizes he doesn't want to dies because he hasn't done everything he wants to do. He is a greaser so he's only done the things greasers do.

K is for Kids
The church Johnny and Pony were staying in caught on fire. There were kids in the church. Johnny and Pony tried to save the kids. Which made them both feel important.

L is for Late
After Dally took Johnny and Pony to get ice cream they found the church on fire. The kids were in it, but if they would have gotten there sooner Johnny wouldn't have gotten hurt. Dally, pony, and Johnny were a little late which caused Johnny's death.

M is for Mom
When Johnny was in the hospital his mom came to see him. Johnny who is normally quiet stood up to his mom. He told the nurse he didn't want to see his mother. Which made him feel good because he never stood up to her before.

N is for Night
Pony and Johnny spend many nights in the church. This made pony and Johnny a lot closer. They became very good friends which was confirmed when they saved the kids and went to the hospital.

O is for Outsider
When pony can't find a reason to fight he feels different from everyone else. He feels like he is an outsider. He doesn't want to be a greaser or a soc.

P is for Ponyboy
Ponyboy visits Johnny in the hospital after the church is on fire. When they are there Dally and Soda show up. Ponyboy realizes that Dally actually cares for him when Dally says how they never slept while he was gone.

Q is for Quiet
Johnny is normally quiet. When his mother comes to visit him he stands up for himself. He steps out of his comfort zone and stands up for himself.
