Conserving energy is important because most of our energy comes from non-renewable resources. Once were out of non-renewable resources we can not make any more using those resources so its important to think of new ways to make and use energy.

Conserving Energy In Our Home
We can conserve energy by opening our windows to let heat and light in instead of using lamps and the air conditioning. This will help because then we wont be using as much energy that wont be needed when their is free renewable energy right outside.

Conserving Energy In Our School
We can conserve energy in our school by burning any paper and trash that we do not need to use to make additional heat. This will help because we are recycling trash we don't need and we wont be having to use non-renewable resources. This will give the trash a reason to be thrown away.

We can conserve energy in our community by making the lamps on the street be able to sense when people are near. This will help because we wont be having to use energy that we don't need to use, making us use less energy.
