FACTS ABOUT THE MUSCLES

  • There are 600 muscles in your body
  • You have over 60 facial muscles which create looks like surprise, happiness, sadness, and frowning.
  • Eye muscles are the busiest muscles in the body. Scientists estimate they may move more than 100,000 times a day!
  • The largest muscle in the body is the gluteus maximus muscle in the buttocks
  • You have 3 different types of muscles: skeletal, smooth, and cardiac.

  • If you eat foods with fat you will not be fit or muscular
  • If you run a lot you will build up the muscles in your leg
