• Evergreens never loose their leaves.
• Decidouse trees loose their leaves during autumn and the winter.
• Evergreens don't loose their leaves because they have adapted to have leaves.

DECIDUOUS

• This oak tree doesn't loose it's leaves so it doesn't have to supply more water and chlorophyll.

MAPLE

• This maple tree slowly changes color and looses it leaves for the same reason as any other deciduous tree.
