• Jack is a selfish person and only cares about himself, and is irresponsible.
• Jack and simon are the only ones that really want to help build the shelters for the others.
• Simon are the ones that are responsible and caring.
• He is angry because the hunters have been slacking and wasting time swimming and not doing what they were suppose to.
• They are excused from building the shelters, so they can hunt.

• No, because he doesn't know how to control people as to making them work.
• The hunters didnt kill anything, they went swimming instead.
• The littleuns (little boys) are boys who are wondering about in the woods.
• Shelter,food, and water is the most important thing.
• Before they get rescued jack wants to hunt a pig.

• Ralph is nice and responsible. Jack is very selfish.
• Simon is really hardworking.
• The job that is most important is finding food so they wont starve.

Jack is now hunting again, he is exploring in search for pigs but isn't having any good luck. Jack returns to the camp and asks for water, there isn't so much water to drink they have to get it from the trees. Ralph starts talking to jack and reminds him what they had said at the meeting, how everyone was going to work hard until the shelters were finished. Jack still thinks that him and his hunters still thinks that him and his hunters are excused from building the shelters because their goal was to hunt and bring some food while the others were making a shelter, Ralph is mad because they haven't been doing anything, he says that they are hopeless and all they have been doing is bathing and playing around. They argue about what each person should be doing. Simon interrupts their argument and he seems very serious about making more shelters, he wants to help the littleuns because they are suffering. They kept on talking about how it felt to be on the island. Then all of a sudden Jack shouted "what? Where? Is it a ship?", jack was actually pointing at the mountain. They kept on talking about how people don't help much. Ralph and jack went near the shelters and they didn't find simon. In this part they find out that simon sometimes disappears and likes to be alone. Simon was helping the littleuns get some fruit to wat. Simon is very mysterious.
