  • They killed three soldiers and kidnapped two for a prisoner exchange.
  • Lebanon made the first attack.
  • After a ambush, five Israel soldiers are dead.

ISRAEL'S RETALIATION

  • Israel blockaded and bombed hundreds of people in Lebanon.
  • Dozens died.

U.N STEPS IN

  • About 15,000 peacekeeper troops in Lebanon.
  • The U.N security council had a new resolution of ceasefire.
  • It would hopefully cause peace between the two countries.
