ASSESS
When you assess something, you estimate it's value or ability.
Games or practices help coaches assess how well the players are playing.
They watch them play, and cheer them on.
3.
COMPENSATE
When you compensate for something that you lack, you make up for it.
On chilly days, scarfs, gloves, and hats can compensate for the lack of heat.
They both do something to make up for the things you missed.
4.
DETERIORATED
Something that has deteriorated became worse or inferior in condition, value, or character.
The abandoned house deteriorated over time of not being used.
Faded, or washed.
5.
DEVASTATING
Something that is devastating is overwhelming or destructive.
The devastating tornado destroyed many houses
Hurricanes, tsunamis, tornadoes
6.
IMPLEMENT
To implement a plan is to put it into effect or make it happen.
My friends and I are making a plan to implement project that helps the homeless.
Stopping bullying better.
7.
PERIPHERAL
Peripheral vision refers to the outer edges of where you can see.
The walls that where in my room blocked my peripheral vision of the tv.
Because we need to be able to see everywhere.

POTENTIAL
Potential means "possibility."
The weather bein warmer gives the potential of summer.
