How it's played
The pitcher throws the ball at the batter and the batter hits it with the bat and runs to first base. The next batter is up. You get strikes if you don't hit it. If you don't hit it but it's a bad throw then that's called a ball. 3 strikes and your out, 3 balls and you get to automatically go to first base. If your team gets 3 out, the 2 teams switch and the batters now go out in the field. If your on first base and the batter hits the ball you run to second. Keeps doing that until you get to home plate. you can also steal bases. You can keep running until you think you have to stop. If they tag you with the ball in their glove or they stand on their plate with the ball, your out. There are 10 positions; pitcher, catcher, 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base, short-stop, right center, left center, right field, and left field.

HEALTH BENIFITS
softball mostly uses your legs because you crouch and run a lot. It provides musculature improvement because it uses all your muscles.
