How is the lab well suited for its Job
For fishing the lab is very strong for hauling ropes and line, and is a very good swimmer. For hunting the lab has a strong sense of smell and is bred as a working gun dog. The lab is also very driven and devoted to get the job it is supposed to do done.

Health Problems
A health problem in labs is obesity because labs love to eat so owners have to watch what their dogs eat and make sure they get plenty of excersise. Also a lot of labs have diabetes which doesn't help obesity. Toumors aren't a big problem for yellow and black labs but are in other retriever breeds like golden retrievers that are related to
labs.
