PRESENTATION OUTLINE

NUCLEUS: OPERATIONAL COMMAND CENTER

  • The nucleus is the equivalent to the operational control center
  • because both the nucleus and the OCC controls all operations
  • within it's designated cell. The OCC controls the flow of lines
  • and the mechanisms in the machines to control when they
  • work and how they work to perform even activity.

MITOCHONDRIA: RESTAURANTS

  • The mitochondria is the equivalent to the amusement park restaurants
  • because they are both places things go to receive energy. Like people
  • go to restaurants for food that turns into energy.

CELL MEMBRANE: PARK WALL

  • The CM is the equivalent to the PW because they both control who or
  • what comes in and out of the cell/park.

GOLGI APPARATUS: FOOD TRUCK

  • These are equivalent because both of them transport
  • Proteins/foods around the cell/park.

CILIA: SHUTTLE CARS

  • The shuttle cars transport people from ride to ride
  • which is just was the cilia controls - movement.

CYTOPLASM: PARK SECURITY

  • Both the C and the PS support and protect the organelles
  • within the cell/park.

RIBOSOME: RESTAURANT CHEF

  • The R and the RC mix proteins into energy, or food, for
  • organelles/people.

LYSOSOME: GARBAGE DISPOSAL

  • They both break down waste and unwanted food.

VACUOLE: GARBAGE CANS

  • Both the vacuole and the garbage cans hold waste and unwanted or harmful
  • substances.

FLAGELLA: PARK RIDES

  • They both involve movement, particularly the movement of organelles
  • within the cell/park. The amusement rides move the people.
