Location of New Caledonia

New Caledonia is an island that is located in the South Pacific on the east side of Australia. The French overseas territory comprises of the 400km long major island.

New Caledonia is settled by British people as well as the the French people during the first half of 19th century.
The island was commanded by the French during 1853
It stayed as a colony for 4 decades, after 1864 New Caledonia got its own independence during 1980s.l

Main cities: Dumbéa, Bourail, Paita, Poindimié, Bouloupari, La Foa, Canala, farino, ect......
New Caledonia is located east of Australia north of New Zealand, south of the equator, and just west of Fiji and Vanuatu.

The government consist of an authority representing the French state, an elected territorial assembly, and an exclusive council compose of eleven minister.

Through the nickle industry, New Caledonia formed working class that included people from all ethnic groups. European farmers settled on the colonised land in Noumea forming a white high standard of living at the bottom of the social size.
