BIOGRAPHY

• They were brothers born in 815 and 827
• They were born in Rome and Thessalonica
• Their real names were Cyril and Michael but changed them before death
• They were taken away and cared for by a high ranked Offical
• This high ranked official took over a teaching program Cyril was suppose to teach

INTERESTING FACTS

• They created the Russian language today
• It was officially called Cyrillic Alphabet but changed to Russain
• They brought these to Christian in the mid 860
• It was similar to Greek and had a dozen letters to represent Slavic sound
• Pope Peter changed the letters to be simplified and took out un essay ones
