GEOGRAPHY

  • Mesopotamia, or in Greek, it is "land between two rivers".
  • The rivers and streams get water by the mountains that make them well fed.
  • The temperature can get up to 110 degrees in the summer And, there is
  • - very little rain.
  • The format of the place is hilly, with plains.

AGRICULTRE

  • Because of the little rainfall they had to dig holes that led to
  • different plots so they could make fresh soil for crops.
  • Because they had droughts little rain and snowfall would cause the
  • rivers to lower and make it harder to get water to crops.
  • If crops did not grow soon enough people would begin to starve, and die.

differences between our times

  • The Santa Fe and the Organ trail were important in Kansas Cities early growth
  • Mesopotamia was where civilization begun.
  • mesopotamia also started larger scale agriculture
  • The Missouri River divides the city into two nearly equal parts;
