BIRTH DATE AND BIRTHPLACE
King Tut's birthplace is in Akhetaten Egypt.
King Tut was born in the year 1346 B.C.

NOTABLE ACTS
One of King Tut's notable acts was that he restored the traditional Egyptian religion.
Also King Tut restored Thebes as a religious center.
Another of King Tut's notable acts was that he restored better relations with ancient Egypt's neighbors.
He also worked with Horemheb and Ay, both future pharaohs, to restore Egypt's power in the region.

KING TUT BECAME FAMOUS...
King Tut was famous from birth because his father was pharaoh.
He got even more famous when he became pharaoh at the age nine because his father had died.
King Tut became famous to the whole world in 1922 because Howard Carter found his tomb.
His tomb was special because no body had open it before and all the treasures were stiil in there.

King Tut had the best education available for a royal person in his time period.

King Tut's occupation was being the pharaoh of Egypt.

DEATH PLACE
King Tut died in 1323 B.C. in Egypt from either malaria or an accident.
Researchers are not sure.

King Tut benefited the world because his tomb helped us learn how
pharaohs lived, what they owned, and what they worshipped.

King Tut was five foot eight.
King Tut was only pharaoh for ten years before he died.
We should know that King Tut was only eight or nine when he became pharaoh of Egypt.
King Tut was only eleven when he got married.

WHY I CHOOSE KING TUT
I choose King Tut because I like to learn about people in the past.
I also like to learn about Egypt and how it was in the past.
I was inspired by King Tut in the movie Mr. Peabody and Sherman and wanted to learn more about him.

HOW I WAS INSPIRED BY KING TUT
I was inspired by King Tut because he was so young when he became pharaoh and that shows
that little people can do great things.
