Even though migrating, established agriculture instead of hunting-and-gathering.
Bananas changed diets.
Began using iron; either learned from others or learned by themselves.
Stateless society - mistaken that there was little/no government, but it was that there was no hierarchy of officials or a bureaucrat. Worked well in small scale communities.
Bantu became too large and resources were depleting=organize military forces=formal government structure.
