HOW DO COLORS AFFECT US?

RED
Red has the property of appearing closer to us than it really is, so it grabs our attention first. It stimulates us and raises our pulse rate. Red is a strong color; it can be perceived as lively and friendly, or as damaging and aggressive.

BLUE
Blue affects us mentally more than physically. Stronger blues stimulate clear thoughts and softer lighter blues calm the mind and aid concentration. Blue can be perceived as cold, unemotional, and unfriendly.

YELLOW
Yellow is a strong color and it stimulates us emotionally. The right shade of yellow can lift our spirit and self-esteem. It is also the color of confidence and optimism.

ORANGE
The orange focuses our minds on physical comfort such as, food, warmth, shelter, etc. too mush orange suggests frivolity and lack of serious intellectual values.

BLACK
Black is all colors absorbed together. It is basically the a sense of light, since no wave lengths are reflected. Black communicates sophistication and uncompromising excellence.

WHITE
Just as black is the total absorption, white is total reflection. It reflects the full spectrum into ours eyes. White communicates purity, hygienic, clean, and sterile.
