PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A is for abuse. Jonny gets abused by his parents,and they don't care about him at all. His father physically abused him and his mother mentally abused him. The the greasers took Jonny in as the gangs pet. Nobody messes with Jonny.
B is for broken. Jonny is broken because if after he got jumped really bad by the greasers. He almost died, and from that point on he carried a switch blade with him all the time. He said the next person that jumped him he would kill.
C is for culture. They where categorized in groups by the society,greasers being bad and looked down on. And the socs being good and able to get away with stuff. But even though society grouped them by what they had and did,they both had problems of their own.
D is for dally. Dally is not gold anymore because he does not she good in the world anymore. He has been arrested more than once,and has a file at the police station. He was tougher,meaner,colder than the rest of the group. He spent three years in New York and saw how bad the gangs there where.
E is for escape. Ponyboy is sick of all the problems with the socs. He just wants to leave/escape from it all. He wants to go to a place where they don't have groups called the greasers and socs. Pony said he wants to move to the country where nobody can judge him.
F is for family. The greaser are like a family,even though some are not blood related. If someone is hurt are getting jumped by socs they help them and stick up for them. Unlike the socs they would run/separate if someone from the group getting is hurt.
G is for greasers. Greasers wore their hair waxed back. They were a group of people,but they considered themselves brothers. They wore certain clothes. And they didn't own really anything. They loved their hair is was their pride,it was basically all they had. They didn't like the socs because they tormented them.
H is for happy. Soda could be happy without a drop of alcohol. He could get drunk on just plain living. Soda is ponyboys brother.
