THE WATER CYCLE

Imagine going on an adventure starting in your little home, then traveling to the skies in freezing temperatures, then free falling back down to earth, and finally finding a new home in a great vast neighborhood. That is what millions of water droplets do everyday! Now you can go on a great journey with them, where the sky is the limit.

You're a little water droplet, in your little home ontop of a leaf, but little did you know that you were about to start the jorney of your life.

You feel yourself lifting away from your home to the sky by the sun. The sun does this using evaporation.

When you reach the clouds above you start moving through the sky with the best view in the world

In the clouds you warm up and start to fall back down to earth as precipitation, or rain

But if it was cold, you would fall done as snow

When you reach the ground you get swept off in the run off down the river

The river flows with you for miles until finally you reach the ocean, your new home

This jorney you went on helps us in Florida by providing oceans for us to play in, water for us to drink, and rain to help our plants grow.

Without water, our world would be a dry hot place. Next time you have a glass of water or play in a pool, think of how many places that water has been, and the jorney it has taken just to find you.
