They are located in South America running north to south along the wester coast
The Andes Mountains run through eight South American countries. They are: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
The southern section of the andes is rainy and cool the central andes are dry and wet the northern andes are rainy and warm
