The right to bear arms

THIRD AMENDMENT

PROTECTION FROM BEING FORCED TO QUARTER TROUPS

FOURTH AMENDMENT

PROTECTION AGAINST UNREASONABLE SEARCH AND SEIZURE

FIFTH AMENDMENT

THE RIGHT TO DUE PROCESS. PROTECTION FROM SELF-INCRIMINATION AND DOUBLE JEOPARDY (THEY CANNOT HAVE A TRIAL TWICE FOR THE SAME CRIME)

SIXTH AMENDMENT

  • Right to a speedy trial and trial by jury

SEVENTH AMENDMENT

THE RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL FOR CIVIL DISPUTES

EIGHTH AMENDMENT

  • Protection from cruel and unusual punishment and excessive bail

NINTH AMENDMENT

  • Protection of rights not specifically mentioned in the Constitution

TENTH AMENDMENT

  • Power that is not given to the federal government by the Constitution will rest with the States and the people
