• the fact that tom doesnt have a way to pay for college if he doesnt go to s
• state u, means he should probably choose to go there
• if he has to pay for college he may not be able to go
• if he cant go to college he wont be able to support him and his girlfriend 
• effectively at least.

• waiting a few years for his girlfriend and going to college alone
• would be the hardest choice but also the best.
• once he finishes college he can go back with her and support them
• with his college education

• i believe that tom should go to state u with his scholarship
• it would be the better choice
• he would be able to visit his girlfriend every once and a while anyways
