Basic Football Rules

• Teams take turns playing offense and defense.
• To start, the team on defense "kicks off" to the team on offense.
• To score, the team on offense tries to make it to the "endzone" (end of the field) (6 points), or kick the ball through the opposing team's goal post (3 points).
• Each team has a set number of chances to score, which can be increased when the offense moves a sufficient length toward the "goal-line" (endzone).
