IS AFFIRMATIVE ACTION GOOD?

Affirmative action or positive discrimination is the policy of favoring members of a disadvantaged group who are perceived to suffer from discrimination within a culture.

"any measure, beyond simple termination of a discriminatory practice, adopted to correct or compensate for past or present discrimination or to prevent discrimination from recurring in the future."

Schools that ban race-conscious decisions see a significant less amount minorities in the school

Certain types of affirmative action allow under qualified applicants of a minority group to be accepted over more qualified applicants

students that have been accepted by affirmative action have a higher tendency to drop out and be at the bottom of their class
