PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The normans were the descendants of the Vikings. They populated the land that the Vikings had conquered.They introduced the Merovingian culture to the area.
Duke William II was the ruler of the Normans. he was also known as William the conqueror. He was so successful in England because of the sheer amount of men that he brought with him to the invasion. the battle of hastings is a very important battle of the Norman invasion.
Once the normans had conquered England they started to have a lot of problems with rebellions. England soon after became very strong and overthrew the Normans. Now it is just a culture followed by a lot of people.
