CHAPTERS 9-12
R is for rumble. There was going to be rumble because of the tension between the Socs and the Greasers. Who ever won the rumble would be top dog. The Greasers won the rumble. This shows that the greasers stood up for each other.

S is for shot. After Johnny had died Dally couldn't take it anymore so he went and robed a store. Dally got caught and the cops were after him and he got shot and killed. This shows that Dally really cared for Johnny and couldn't stand to live without him.

T is for trustworthy. When the gang were in the rumble they all helped each other. If one was in trouble then they would help them out. This shows that they care about each other and are trustworthy.

U is for Upset. When Darry and Pony were fighting that Soda got so mad that he ran out. Darry and Pony ran after him and when they caught him they talked about it and agreed that Darry and Pony wouldn't fight anymore because it was tearing Soda apart. This shows that they all care about each other and would do anything for each other.

V is for violence. Randy was sick off all of the violence and said that he wouldn't be at the rumble. Randy didn't show at the rumble. This shows that Randy is ready for both the Socs and greasers to get along and for the world to become a better place.
W is for win. The rumble was a success for the greasers. The Socs got in their cars and ran away. This shows that the greasers work together very well and when they try they can achieve whatever they want.

X is for X-Ray. When the doctor took more x-rays on Johnny they found out that he was going to die. Nobody hoped that it was true and was hoping that he would pull through and not die. But in the end Johnny dies and everyone isn't the same especially Dally.

Y is for yelling. Darry and Pony were in a fight about school and how Pony didn't care about his grades anymore but Darry did. Pony and Darry started yelling at each other which didn't happen a lot because Pony never talked back. Pony has had a tuff time lately and he had changed and they finally decided that they would fight anymore for Sodas' sake.
Z is for zoo. Since Pony had missed a lot of school he was failing a class and to get his grade up he had to write a paper. The teacher said that it could be about whatever he wants. Pony thought that he would write about his trip to the zoo.
