In the United States, the average person has a much better quality of life than the citizens of most other countries. Americans enjoy many luxuries that inhabitants of other countries could only dream of.

The Constitution, laws, and court decisions made by our federal courts all give or limit rights that we have as Americans. In America, we have many rights that other countries don't allow their citizens to have. The first and foremost of these are listed in the Declaration of Independence. They are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Our founding fathers risked their lives for their freedom and the freedom of this country. Then they outlined int the first amendment to our constitution that the government will never take away our freedom of religion, speech, press, petition, or assembly.

The pursuit of happiness does not mean that everybody in the United States is always happy, but it means that every person living here has the right to do what they feel they must do to live a happy life.

One of the first amendment rights of America is the freedom of speech. As Americans, people can speak without fear of persecution. They are allowed to speak out against government policies and actions without the fear of being tried for heresy.

One of the greatest parts of American life is the fact that everybody is free to live their life. They do not have to live a restrained life. They don't have to fear their government. Everybody is free to live their life as they see fit.

Black, white, red, or yellow, male or female, old or young, all Americans have the same rights. No one gender or one race is superior to any other.

America has an extremely varied culture. Many people come from many different backgrounds, which leads to the United States being an enormous melting pot. Each different culture brings something different to the overall culture of the United States.

In the United States, there is entertainment for all audiences. There are countless genres of music, endless hours of television and movies, and thousands of live performances all over the country every day.

Nearly all Americans are literate, and almost just as many go to at least 8 years of school. In our country, everybody gets an education, regardless of their monetary status.

In America, and especially in the midwest, people work hard. People in America usually have the Puritan work ethic and they will work to make a living.

Oh beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain. For purple mountain's majesty, above the fruited plain. America is a beautiful nation. Northeast Iowa is one of the most beautiful places in the entire country where the rolling hills meet the prairies.

Life is much simpler in northeast Iowa than in most parts of the world. There is much less to worry about. People are free to live their own lives without affecting others.

Northeast Iowa is home to some of the friendliest people in the world. They will take a genuine interest in what others are doing and care for other people as if they were family.

The people of northeast Iowa are, as a whole, very ethical people. They respect one another and are always wiling to lend a helping hand to those in need.

The typical northeast Iowan has his or her priorities straight. They know what is important to them, whether it be family, friends, religion, or education. Everybody understands what is worth their time, and what activities should be avoided.

Due to the fact that most communities in NEIA are rather small, crime tends to be far less prevalent than it is in larger cities. People value their reputation, so they always try to avoid activities that they know they will have to deal with the consequences for years afterward.

The people in NEIA are proud to live here. The people here make this part of the country so special. They are the reason that NEIA is the greatest part of the world, and they are proud to call this place home.

Life is very peaceful in this part of the state. It's a quiet place full of peaceful people that rarely cause much of a riot.

Being in such a peaceful, kind area is good for the soul. People that come to our corner of the state leave with a happier demeanor and a new fullness of life.

Although people are proud of their communities, they are very humble. They understand that they should not brag about their achievements and they usually don't boast about much of anything.

One of the greatest traits that Northeast Iowans have is their honesty. People around here were raised to tell the truth. They were raised to never lie. These lessons have been rooted in their heritage for generations.

The beauty of NEIA is all natural. The beauty is in the green grass, the green trees, and the green or golden corn.

When someone has been in NEIA all their life, they can feel how much love is in the communities. A love for one another, a love for the community, and a love for the great country they all call home.
