  • A liquid is a form of matter where it takes a shape of its container and
  • the particles are squished together but have room to move if you boil
  • it it turns to steam which is a gas but if you freeze it it turns ice which
  • is a solid

  • A gas is another state of matter where the particles have all the room they
  • need and move around quickly it takes the shape of its container but not 
  • all containers.

  • A solid is the last state of matter where its particles are all squished 
  • together and cant really move. if you melt a solid it turns into a liquid
