WHAT IS MAPLE SYRUP CANDY?
Maple syrup candy is simply solidified maple syrup.
The sugar in the maple syrup has been boiled and concentrated to very high temperatures so when cooled it's a firm but smooth texture and taste.

HYPOTHESIS
My hypothesis was that the high temperatures would not drastically change the appearance or consistency of the candy.

MATERIALS/PROCEDURE
In a brief description I used a stove, pan, maple syrup, and a thermometer to test this experiment.
I heated my stove up to certain temperatures to see if the sugar actually concentrated and affected the the appearance of the candies

CONCLUSIONS
In conclusion, I discovered that yes, the temperature does drastically affect the out outcome of the candy because the higher the sugar concentration is, the harder the appearance and texture the candy is.
