PHOTO-JOURNAL- THE GREAT DEPRESSION

I choose this because it shows you how people were back then. They partied all the time and didn't care about their money.

I choose this picture because it shows people taking out their money during Black Tuesday. Black Tuesday was a time period that were people took all there money from their bank accounts which made the banks run out of money.

I put this picture on here because it shows how everyone is dirty and living in poor conditions. Also in this photo it shows you how the mom had to take care of the kids while the dad was probably looking for some work to do. (PC: Dorothea Lange)

I picked this photo because it shows the people in the field working to make a living. It also shows that the fields look like the dirt is really dry.

I choose this picture because this fight was the largest sport event during the depression. This also could have been the turning point in WWII.

In this picture you can see all of the angry farmers. The reason why they're angry is because the stock market crashed and now it's hard for them to get money.

The reason why the Hoover dam is on here is because it was a public works project. Which is a project that creates a lot of jobs.
