St. Thomas' Youth and Adult Mentors are headed south to Swansboro, NC for Mission Possible 2015, working with other youth groups as we assist in the Towel Ministry of St. Peter's By The Sea Episcopal Church.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Mission Possible 2015 (July 18-25):
Swansboro, NC

We're join forces with other youth groups, working with St. Peter's Towel Ministry to serve the community as the body of Christ.

We'll do basic home repair and build ramps like this one

For folks who are in need of a little help from friends...

In the afternoon, we'll have fun on the beach!

Each day awesome folks from St. Peter's prepare meals for us

We will worship together in the morning and evenings

St. Peter's is our "base" for gathering, worship, and meals

WHAT IS TOWEL MINISTRY?

Towel Ministry is a youth oriented ministry
that specializes in housing repair and refurbishment for the elderly, physically challenged, and economically disadvantaged. Teams of youth and qualified adults spread the Good News of the Gospel by participating in work projects, such as building handicap access ramps,
painting, roofing, weatherproofing,
and other needed housing repairs.

Daily Schedule:

7:00am - rise and shine
7:25am - Morning Prayer
7:30am - Breakfast, Make Lunches,
8:00am - Gather Supplies, and Load Vans
8:30am - Depart from St. Peter's
12:00pm - Lunch & Group meeting
1-2pm - Clean up, showers, free time.
2:30pm - Fun Activity
6:00pm - Dinner
7:30pm - Worship, Evening Program, Community Meeting
10:30pm - In Dorm
11:00pm - Lights Out
