  • She put 6 flowers in each of her vases.
  • How many vases does she use?

REPEATED SUBTRACTION

  • 24 - 6 = 18
  • 18 - 6 = 12
  • 12 - 6 = 6
  • 6 - 6 = 0
  • There are 4 groups of 6 .

  • Skip count backwards
  • You move to the left
  • Use repeated subtraction
  • You must end at 0

  • 24 : Total (dividend)
