Mrs. Hesseltine's 8th Grade U.S. History
The Civil War

In the next two weeks you will be studying the Civil War. The Civil War took place between 1861-1865. This war, and the results of the war, would affect life in America forever. During class in the next two weeks you will be learning about battles, key events, people, and American society overall during the Civil War. In this project you will apply what you have learned by engaging in the creation of a Haiku Deck timeline/slide presentation. You are expected to do your best work on this project. You will be sharing your work with the class using the iPads and the AppleTV device available to us in class. Attached is a rubric showing how you will be graded on this project. Please let me know if you have any questions.
