What She Has Contributed

Alisa Valdes-Rodriquez's best selling novel The Dirty Girls Social Club has totally contributed to the world. This book has created a whole new genre for Latin's. It is a story of 6 Latina's who are college freinds and it takes you on a journey through their lives. It has changed literature for Latin's.

How We Celebrate

We celebrate this holiday on Febuary 28 because this was the day this amazing author was born and if not then there would never have been this amazing change in Latin literature. On this day we honor Latin and Alisa Valdes. So on this day everybody should write a short story on or about a different language or place to honor what Alisa has done. Also ceremonies will be held about her so anyone who wants to honor Alisa this is there time to go up on stage and give a small speech. Also at night we will do fireworks.
