"MARIJUANA IS A SAFE DRUG"

  • Driving high on marijuana can be just as
  • Dangerous as driving drunk.

"IT'S OKAY TO TRY A DRUG JUST ONCE"

  • Some drugs such as crack cocaine or inhalants,
  • Can be fatal the first time they are used.

"IF I WANT TO USE DRUGS, I ONLY AFFECT MYSELF"

  • Drug use affects you, your family,
  • Your friends, and society

"I CAN STOP ANYTIME I WANT"

  • The more often you use drugs,
  • The harder it can become to stop.

"MARIJUANA USE CAUSES CANCER"

  • Marijuana smoke, like cancer smoke contains
  • Carcinogens, but even hardcore pot smokers
  • Consume much less pot than tobacco smokers
  • Do cigarettes, probably not enough to cause
  • Cancer.

"MARIJUANA IS THE MOST DANGEROUS DRUG"

  • Studies have shown that marijuana
  • Is less harmful than alcohol and tobacco,
  • And much less harmful than other addictive
  • Drugs such as heroin and cocaine.

  • Heavy users of marijuana may develop
  • Withdrawal symptoms, such as irritability,
  • Anxiety, and difficult sleeping, when they
  • Have not used the drug for a period of
  • Time.
