Japanese interment

120,000 innocent Japanese people were put in interment camps for spying on the Americans. Later not a single one was ever accused of spying. The camps were in the desert which was hard on the Japanese. Most of the men volunteered to work for the military. The 442nd is the most famous Japanese group and they received more honors than anyone in American history.

African Americans in the war

900,000 African Americans signed up for the war but they still got poor jobs like cooking or driving the trucks. Some of them got to fight. The Tuskegee airmen, the Buffaloes were a very decorated group with 200 medals. African Americans helped the war immensely.

Jewish American servicement

More than 550,00 Jews fought in wwii. They received 52,000 decorations. The Jews were horrified though when they saw the Jewish interment camps. Some were crying some were extremely angry and others were wondering if that could have been them.
