  • The Andes Mountains is home to many crops, like tobacco and potatoes.
  • There is lots go mining in the Mountains, for things like gold.
  • There are paths through the mountains for trade.
  • It also is a source of Malaria treatment.

  • The mountains bring tourists.
  • This helps the economies of many countries.
  • The Lost Incan Cities bring in tourism.

  • Contains 30,000 plant species.

The Andes Mountains are important for many things, like medicine, crops, and tourism. I think life would be a lot different without these mountains because South America's economy would be different, and there would be more border disputes. There are many natural disasters that cause teamwork in helping other people.
