  • The story takes place in a small
  • town that is run-down in certain areas.

MOOD 1

  • The mood is intense because
  • in the text it says
  • "He knows he can't stop the old man."
  • (Grabenstein 98)

MOOD 2

  • In the text, it says "He moved his
  • ghastly hands towards the old man's
  • throat" (Grabenstien 138) to show that
  • this is a very intense moment.
