A light bulb is a resistor that is used to brighten a room, kitchen, hallway etc. Some light bulbs have stronger light than others. The lighter the light bulb, the more it contaminates, and of course it also has a greater cost. That is the main reason that there is always someone that will tell you turn of the light when you are not there. Also using lights in the day is a total waste of time because practically there is nothing that you can brighten.

So as you can see some fans make more wind than other. So similar to lights, the stronger the fan the more wind and the more wind the more pollution. There is people that just keep the them on because they want the fresh air, but they do not realize that if there is no heat then whats the point. You just open the windows and there you go.
