• Complex religion on polytheistic beliefs
• Created hieroglyphics and at least 3 other scripts
• Invented the calendar, writing, flat roofed home
• Religion and government revolved around the pharoah

INDUS RIVER VALLEY

• Stretches across india, pakistan, bangladesh, etc.
• Built houses and bathrooms, had carts, and boats
• Traded with mesopotamia using boats
• Used writing for religion (Vedas) for hinduism
• First civilization to invent precise measurement/ weight systems

WHICH IS BETTER?

• Indus invented measurement and weighing systems
• Egypt invented a complex government
• The Indus Grew wheat, barley, rye, peas, cotton, rice
• Egyptians grew barley, wheat, veggies, figs, melons, etc.
