VAMPIRE DIARIES

VOLUME 1

Elena Gilbert
Elena Gilbert is a high school student who had it all. Great friends, good family, she was the most popular girl in school, she could even have any boy she wanted.

One day Elena and her parents where driving home from a party, when they got in a horrible axident. Alena's parents did not make it out alive, but her and her little sister did.

That summer Alena had felt alone, sad, like she had nothing to live for anymore. Until she met Stephan Salvador.

Alena loved Stephan. And Stephan loved her. But little did Elena know who or "what" Stephan was.

Stephan was different. He wasn't human. He wasn't an animal. He was a vampire.

Alena noticed that Stephan was different. He was faster than a human. He was stronger than a human. Elena had to know what he was.

Passage one: page 21
"He'd walked right by. Without a glance. She couldn't remember the last time that had happened. They all looked. And least glanced, some whistled, some stop to talk. Some just stared.
And that was fine with Elena. After all what was more important then boys? they were the mark of how popular you were,of how beautiful you were.and they could be useful for all sorts of things . Sometimes they were exciting, but usually they didn't last very long. Sometimes they were creeps from the beginning.

I chose this as my first passage from the story because I feel like it represents that Elena is desperate and Thinks very highly of herself. She is damaged, hurt, and upset.

My last passage is very short but is hilarious. Stephens brother, who is also a vampire is after Elena . Stephan is trying to keep Elena safe and is telling her Precautions of how to be safe around his brother.

Page 255 passage 2:
"You will need to stay away as far away from him as you can."Said Stephan
But if you see that you are in any danger, drink this. It's vervain, a poison to vampires."
"Ok. Should I be stocking up garlic?"Said Elena.

I really liked this book. It was really hard for me to put it down. I would defiantly recommend this read!
