KNOW THE PICTURE?

AND HAIKU DECK DOESN'T?
Sometimes Haiku Deck doesn't find the same excellent images you do - here is a way to get the ones you want.

TAKE A SCREEN SHOT

CLICK THE "HOME" AND "POWER" BUTTON TOGETHER
A screen shot is a way to capture a picture that Haiku Deck doesn't find. You can also "touch" copy images you google which also pastes the image into the iPad's photos file.

In Haiku Deck select the picture tool - choose "Import" then "My Photos."

Select image and click "add image" at the bottom

Then select "Import"

Be sure to SAVE!

FIRST CLICK "SHARE" ON YOUR PROJECT FROM HOMESCREEN
To save your deck touch the upper left to get the "Main Menu" arrow.

Click "Share" - That will bring you to either a publish screen (first save) or an update screen

NEXT BE SURE TO "PUBLISH"

CHOOSE EDUCATION FOR A CATEGORY
Check the title - Is it your name? - fix it if it isn't!

Choose education for the category -

Then "Publish"

You will see it saving each slide to the web. When it is done you should see a screen much like this next slide...

UPDATE AFTER ANY EDITS

YOU SHOULD SEE EACH SLIDE AS IT SAVES
This is where you should be with a little version of your deck in the window.

This is also what you will see if you have edited an existing deck - wait for it to save each slide before you close this window.

Untitled Slide

When you have your deck just the way you want it save and share it with me.

From this screen choose "Copy URL" after you update.

NOW TIME TO SHARE

CHOOSE "COPY URL"
Now close haiku Deck and open Safari to get to your school gmail account.
