Describe Nomadic Society and its effects on trade.

  • Nomadic society had 2 classes: nobles and commoners
  • Nobles dealt swiftly and didn't obey orders from others
  • Normally hunters or gather, traveled often depending on vegetation
  •  they could travel anywhere and bring their items
  •  and culture to those areas

Analyze Turkish military expansion including that of the Seljuks

  • The Expanded all over Eurasia including Persia, India, and Anatolia
  • The Seljuks defeated the Byzantines at Manzikert 
  • Which affected expansion of the Turks.
  • This made it easier for the Turks to expand into the area controlled by the Byzantines.

Explain how Genghis Khan attained so much power.

  • Strong militaries and political policies
  • improved many parts of the Mongol government 
  • and military leading to him gaining power throughout Eurasia. 

Describe how the Mongols were organized politically?

  • Genghis Khan broke up tribes
  • forced men to fight in military
  • picked on talent and royalty
  • saw himself as a conqueror and leader 
  •  He also chose military and political officials to lead and assist

Describe Mongolian rule under Kublai Khan.

  • He extended rule to China with some of Asia such as Vietnam. 
  • took care of culture such as art and religion
  • generous to the people of his own empire
  • helped advanced the empire
  • struggled to gain a lot more land his tactics of warfare weren't effectiv
