Midfielders

• Do a face off
• Can run all over the feild
• Two midfielders run from the sides of the field
• And try to help the center midfielder
• Also called middies

Attack

• Always stay on one side of field with defenders
• And goalie
• Has a special position called X
• X is very important because if there is a shot
• X runs with his stick out to be closest to the

Attack (cont.)

• Ball
• Whoever is closest to the ball
• Gets possestion of the ball

Goalies

• Most important player
• Like the quarterback for football

Lacrosse

• There is a 7-point mercy rule
• Which means the other team always gets the ball

Defense

• Guard attack and help goalie
• Can cross midfield if they call
• Middie back
• Which means a midfielder falls back
• To take the defenders place
